Square

It's so funny when you first hear about something cool and then all of a sudden your life suddenly revolves around it.. Well kinda

I first saw the Square last week at a small boutique where the employees were using their iPhones as the store's register. One week later my roommate Kevin comes home with one. His brother Drew was actually interning for the Square app and Drew had one onhand for us to try out!!

The App is free to iPhone and android users. Once you sign up, they send you the square in the mail- also free. They earn their money by taking 2% off each transaction, which doesn't seem too bad.

Also note that this app is linked directly to your bank account and keeps logs of transaction location, so it should be used for "legitimate" purposes.. Kevin owes me 10 bucks, I'll let you know how it works! :)
